Saiful Alam Sabuj is the founding writer of “Vers La France”. He is a French citizen, originally from Bangladesh, actively involved in community work. Holding a Bachelor’s degree from Oxford Brookes University, UK, and a Master’s degree from the renowned French Grande Ecole SciencesPo Paris, Sabuj is also a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA member). Currently pursuing a part-time PhD in Financial Risk Management in the Circular Economy at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his writings.
Beginning his career as an audit trainee at Deloitte, Sabuj gained diverse experience in audit, accounting, and controlling at major companies like L’Oreal, Akka Technologies, the Independents Group, Karla Otto, and Treatwell. Alongside founding the professional service firm Stratancy, offering BPO services to SMEs in English-speaking countries, he serves as a visiting lecturer at various French universities.
Motivated by his own journey in France, Sabuj faced challenges in university admissions, bureaucratic administration, language barriers in job searches, and meticulous preparation for French citizenship. Initiating “Vers La France,” he aims to provide personalized advice and share information through articles addressing these issues.
