Saiful Alam Sabuj is the founder of “Vers La France” who is currently a French citizen originally from Bangladesh and actively engaged in community work. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Oxford Brookes University, UK, and a Master’s degree from the prestigious French Grande Ecole SciencesPo Paris. As a Chartered Certified Accountant (a member of ACCA), he is currently pursuing a part-time PhD in Financial Risk Management in the Circular Economy at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Professionally, he embarked on his career as an audit trainee at Deloitte, gaining diverse experience in audit, accounting, and controlling at prominent companies such as L’Oreal, Akka Technologies, the Independents Group, Karla Otto, and Treatwell. In addition to being the founder of the professional service firm Stratancy, offering BPO services to SMEs in English-speaking countries, he also serves as a visiting lecturer at various French universities.
Inspired by his journey in France, which involved facing challenges in university admissions, navigating bureaucratic French administration, language barriers in job searches, and the meticulous preparation required for French citizenship, He initiated “Vers La France”.
